Browsing and enquiries
You can explore the map without registering. The technical providers (OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare) process connection data needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP addresses and server requests, for site operation and security. If you contact me, I use the information you send to respond and handle your enquiry, on the basis of requested pre-contractual steps or the legitimate interest in managing correspondence. Messages are kept as necessary for the enquiry and any resulting relationship, subject to legal retention duties. This website does not process payments: Etsy is an external service with its own privacy notice.
Optional Google Analytics 4 statistics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics”, to understand how people discover the project and explore the map. The legal basis is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Before consent, or if you decline, this website does not load the Analytics tag or send Analytics events. All map features remain available if you decline.
What is measured
With consent, measurements include page views, visit sources, browser and device information, and approximate location. Custom events record opening and zooming the map, comparison modes, transformations, time with the map open and the page active, clicks to Etsy and clicks on contact links. A click to Etsy does not confirm a purchase; a contact click does not confirm a message was sent. Custom events do not contain names, email addresses, phone numbers or message content. Sent URL parameters are limited to permitted campaign parameters. Google technically processes IP addresses; it states that Analytics does not log or store them for traffic from the EU, Switzerland and the UK. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the tag; no remarketing campaigns are configured.
Cookies, preferences and retention
After consent, _ga and _ga_* cookies may recognise your browser for up to 180 days, without automatically extending their expiry on each visit. Your choice is saved for 180 days in browser storage under heritage-analytics-consent-v1. The language preference agomanca-language remains until browser data is cleared. Choices are specific to the browser and domain. The Analytics property retains event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months; the latter period resets on new user activity. These limits apply to granular data, not necessarily to standard aggregated reports.
Changing your choice
Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer of any page to accept or decline at any time. Declining stops future Analytics events and removes the website’s Analytics cookies accessible to the browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You can also clear cookies and local data in your browser settings.
Providers and international processing
Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google group companies. Data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards in the provider’s terms. Read Google’s privacy policy, how Google uses partner-site data and the data processing terms.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent. Contact the address above. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your competent supervisory authority. No automated decisions with legal effects on individuals are made.
